Being a Maui family photographer, I love finding new places to take my clients for their photo sessions. One of my favorite scenes is the Po’olenalena sunset. Po’olenalena means “yellow head”, and is referencing the famous yellow rock mountain landmark. The Sears family came to me in need of some new family photos, as well as some nice head shots to use for work purposes. I knew Po’olenalena beach would be a great spot to take them due to the beautiful scenery, and also for being a more quiet and private beach in Maui.
We had such a great time getting to take both family photos and head shots for everyone! I really loved how everyone wore outfits that suited their personalities, but also were perfectly cohesive. The Sears family was so sweet, and I truly had such a wonderful time getting to know them and capturing their beautiful family. I can’t wait to see them again whenever they come back from Tuscon!
