Makena Cove at sunrise is a beautiful spot for photos (Come at sunset however and it is a different story, ie CROWDED). One of my favorite parts about being a Maui family photographer is getting to meet so many wonderful families and watching them grow. The Dave family told me that they absolutely love Maui, and couldn’t wait to come back to visit. The last time they were here, their daughter was only 2.5 years old and Lopa was pregnant with their son. Now, they have visited with their son who is now 2.5 years old! It’s so exciting to see their visit come full circle and watch their son enjoy the beautiful Maui beaches. We went over to Makena Cove for their family photography session. They mentioned to me that their favorite part of visiting Maui is exploring and finding places off the beaten path, so I knew Makena Cove would be a great place to visit. We all had such a great time exploring and having an adventure together. This location is such a beautiful beach in Maui and I always enjoy taking my clients here.
