As a photographer, my go to spot in Hawaii is White Rock. Family sessions are obviously so close to my heart, but I especially love getting to photograph multi-generational families. The Scarletts came to visit from California, and they decided it was due time to get some photos taken with everyone. Three generations in one photo session? You can’t beat that. With a larger group, I wanted to make sure we went somewhere a little more private. Of course, we still had to take advantage of the beautiful Maui beaches. We ended up deciding to take photos in front of the White Rock Hawaii sunrise, and I couldn’t be happier. Just look at how beautiful they all are!
White Rock is also known as Palauea Beach, and it is one of my favorite hidden gems! This area is great for snorkeling or boogie boarding, and is much less crowded than some of the other beaches. We all had such a great time getting to explore White Rock together. It was so cool to see so many generations all at once, interacting and laughing together. If you’ve ever considered getting the whole family together for photos, I hope this session convinces you to go for it.
